2012 Bantam A - Vermont Champions
Orleans Wild took to the road over the past weekend and came back triumphant!
Contesting the "Vermont's Green Mountain Avalanche Holiday Showdown 2012" the Orleans boys overcame a first game 4 - 0 loss to Cumberland to come up Champions!
Showing discipline, determination and desire the Orleans' crew went up against other Ottawa area teams and won the remaining round robin games, finishing first overall to face arch - numinous Cumberland A1 in the final.
Just like the previous match-ups with Orleans Wild! and Cumberland, it was a close game, with the OMHA squad winning 2 – 1 in regulation time: the winning goal was scored short-handed on a break – away !
All the players had fun on the ice, in the water park and at the arcade. All the parents enjoyed themselves as well.
